The library is a vital ministry of our church as it supports all ministries of the church as well as provide help and leisure reading to everyone. Non-church members are welcome to use the library. There are over 6,000 items in the collection with media for all ages, birth to the oldest of the old. We have an excellent collection of children’s books and videos. There are discipleship training kits available for group or individual study. There is nice selection of periodicals to read while you are in the library, and these may also be checked out. We have books on tape, Bible on audiocassette plus Bible studies and inspirational selections.
You may also check out a sermon tape. We are now adding CD’s and DVD’s to our collection. There is a vertical file where you can find information on various topics. We continually add items to our collection that we feel will be interesting and helpful to our patrons. Story time for children can be arranged in advance through the librarians. We will also deliver and pick up media material for anyone who is homebound. For these services, make arrangements through the library staff. We observe National Library Week, Children’s Book Week, and Teen Read Week with special emphasis at these times.
Our library is set up on the Dewey Decimal system and we are partially automated. The catalog is accessible by computer. We strive to provide a comfortable place for those wishing to come to study, browse, or just sit awhile.
